Drawing an eye can be a daunting task, but with practice and a step-by-step guide, anyone can learn how to draw one. In this article, we will be following the eye drawing tutorial by Anzaartworks, a talented artist who has a large following on social media platforms such as Instagram and Tiktok. The tutorial is available in both Urdu and Hindi, making it accessible to a wider audience.

 

Before we begin, it's important to understand the basic anatomy of the eye. The eye is a complex organ that consists of several parts such as the iris, pupil, sclera, and eyelids. Understanding the basic structure of the eye can help you draw it more accurately.

 

Step 1: Draw the outline of the eye

The first step is to draw the basic outline of the eye. Anzaartworks suggests starting with a simple almond shape for the eye. You can use a pencil to lightly sketch the outline, as it will be easier to erase any mistakes. It's important to get the shape of the eye right, as it will form the foundation for the rest of the drawing.

 

Step 2: Draw the iris and pupil

The next step is to draw the iris and pupil of the eye. Anzaartworks suggests starting with the iris, which is the colored part of the eye. The size and shape of the iris will depend on the angle at which the eye is viewed. To draw the iris, start by drawing a circle inside the outline of the eye. Then, draw another circle inside the first one, leaving a small gap between them. This gap will represent the pupil, which is the black part of the eye.

 

Step 3: Add shading to the iris

Once you have drawn the iris and pupil, it's time to add some shading to the iris to give it a more realistic look. Anzaartworks suggests using a pencil to lightly shade the area around the iris, leaving the pupil and a small area around it untouched. The shading should be darker towards the outer edge of the iris and lighter towards the inner edge.

 

Step 4: Draw the eyelashes and eyelid

The next step is to draw the eyelashes and the eyelid. Anzaartworks suggests starting with the upper eyelid, which is thicker and more prominent than the lower eyelid. To draw the eyelid, start at the inner corner of the eye and draw a curved line towards the outer corner. Then, draw a second curved line below the first one to create the shape of the eyelid. Next, draw the eyelashes by making short, upward strokes along the edge of the eyelid. You can add as many or as few eyelashes as you like, depending on the style of your drawing.

 

Step 5: Add shading to the eyelid and lashes

To make the eyelashes and eyelid look more realistic, it's important to add some shading. Anzaartworks suggests using a pencil to shade the area above the upper eyelid, making it darker towards the outer corner of the eye. Then, shade the eyelashes to make them stand out. To do this, use a pencil to darken the base of the lashes and gradually make them lighter towards the tip.

 

Step 6: Draw the lower eyelid and add shading

The final step is to draw the lower eyelid and add shading to the area around it. Anzaartworks suggests starting with the lower eyelid, which is thinner and less prominent than the upper eyelid. To draw the lower eyelid, start at the outer corner of the eye and draw a curved line towards the inner corner. Then, draw a second curved line above the first one to create the shape of the lower eyelid. Finally, add some shading to the area around the lower eyelid
